As a small charity we only have ad hoc volunteering opportunities for non-members.

However, we are always happy to hear from enthusiastic people with skills to offer!

Here are some ways you can work with us to contribute to our aims:

If you are interested in volunteering and spending some time to work to your strengths with us - for example, helping with publicity or writing a blog - please complete our application form below.
Promote rights in mental health:  you can help us make sure students know their rights in Higher Education, especially if you are a student yourself or know someone who is. Have a look at our For Students pages and share these on social media.
If you are a current student, recent graduate or member of staff at a university or college consider getting involved in University Mental Health Day.
Share a constructive experience of disclosing mental health difficulties as part of our I Chose To Disclose campaign.
Write a blog for us about your experiences of mental health support at university.
UMHAN members are very welcome to contribute to the blog to talk about their careers in mental health support or to discuss a particular topic of relevance.
Stay in touch with us and share our content: we would like to keep you updated and involved in our aims and objectives. You can find us on a number of social networking sites using the icons at the bottom of our webpages.
Donate/Fundraise:  Giving what you can to UMHAN means we can do even more work! We are registered with the Charities Commission (charity number 1155038). Any donations will go to fulfilling UMHAN's aims.
