Termination of membership and lapsed membership

The following policies explain our processes in relation to membership suspension, termination and re-application. 

Key points

• Members should inform us as soon as possible if they wish to suspend their membership as we may not be able to offer refunds
• Completion of a short reapplication form will be required after any suspension ends
• Members can choose to suspend their membership for up to 12 months. In exceptional circumstances this may be extended to 18 months
• After this time, they will have to reapply using the current process and criteria (see our lapsed membership policy below).
