Link to Zoom recording - audio only, video, and chat

Online:

Please use this link to join us remotely: Register for Zoom meeting

You will be sent details about how to join the meeting on the day after you've registered, but you will need a webcam, microphone and speakers (e.g. a laptop). You can also use a phone to dial-in for this meeting.

For the best experience you will need to download some software - if you are using a university owned laptop you may need to ask IT to do this for you. You can however, just join the meeting through your browser, by clicking through the links offered to you.

Please spend some time familiarising yourself with the platform - including testing your set up - to get the best out of the meeting. You can do this by joining a test meeting

Top tips:

  • If you can, connect to the internet via an ethernet cable. Zoom works well on wireless all the way down to 3G, but the quality is best on a solid wired internet connection, so wire in when you can. Otherwise, just make sure you have serviceable Wi-Fi.
  • Close other programmes on your laptop/computer as these can interfere with the connection.
  • When you are not speaking mute your mike. There is a small blue toggle mute button in the top right-hand corner of your video window to control this.

N.B. You will be asked for your consent to record the meeting - this will be for me to be able to create notes and action points, but also to share with other members who couldn't attend (short term availability).
