The one-day training enables staff to deliver the Look After Your Mate workshop to students, equipping them with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to support their peers and their own mental health at university. The workshops can be delivered to the general student population, or targeted groups, such as resident assistants, volunteers or welfare reps. The workshop covers identifying the signs someone may be in need of support; starting a conversation; listening skills; signposting; boundaries; and looking after yourself.

Attendance on the Look After Your Mate Train the Trainer programme costs £275 per person (plus an annual £50 membership and licensing fee per person).
